MAMA GABOUSA

So Mama Gabousa came to visit O.W.Y this week. for those of you who don't know who mama Gabousa is...she's the first lady of Mozambique. The presidents wife. So it was a pretty big deal. We had to get the place ready for her arriving so we were pretty busy. She came at about 7:30am on Monday morning and stayed for about half an hour, walking around looking at the clinic, school and meeting the children. She was interested in the work going on and when she was interviewed for the radio said she really enjoyed getting to see O.W.Y. This shows how significant the work of O.W.Y is that she would come to visit and Bernadette was very encouraged by this. She was nervous before hand but coped well.

Well I say, rubbing shoulders with the first lady of Mozambique. But nothing compared to being a child of the King.

Miss you guys so much! It is strange seeing the familiar surroundings of the Bernadette's home; it brings back so many memories. Keep up the great work - so proud of you guys! Andrew
