ELIAS

We haven't had any internet access so this is a little late:

Death is something that Africa and the people of Africa have to deal with continually, to the point where it sometimes seems like it has no effect on the bereaved. In our short time here we've begun to see and experience this. It's like Africa in a way has become numb to death. We all know however that this is not the case and that hurt is deeper than we'll ever see. We should be thankful for the lives we have and the fact that death is not a common experience for us to have to deal with.

Elias' father passed away on Friday. Elias is our friend, "tour guide" and employee here at O.W.Y. and we'd appreciate your prayer for him and the whole family circle at this time.

Love,

Jonny/Emma

Hey Jonny and Emma think i've cracked this thing this time and keeping up to date with your blog!!- hard for you to see people who have been such an important part of your time there and with whom you've formed friendships dealing with pain and loss - praying God will use you in comforting them .Tanya
